Baptism is the sacrament of new birth as a child of God. Baptism takes away original sin. The priest baptizes by pouring water on the forehead of the person (or immersing in water) and saying the words, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." 

 

To be baptized, please contact the Parish Office. Parents and godparents are required to attend baptismal classes.
